Life Reports

In David Brooks’ blog, which I encourage y’all to check out if you haven’t already, he has been going through “Life Reports” from Americans over the age of 70, where they reflect on how their life has gone, and what lessons they have learned.

The main thing I got out of it is that divorce is incredibly destructive and depressing (although many of the Life Reports seem to go to great lengths to minimize the costs of divorce). Then again, that’s a bias that I had before I started reading the Life Reports, so read for yourself and see what you think.
